Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Cretova LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we", "us"), for the Hairloom app and this website. By using Hairloom you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Hairloom.

1. What Hairloom does

Hairloom creates AI-generated previews of how a haircut or hair colour might look on a photo you provide. Previews are illustrations for fun and inspiration. They are not a promise of what a hairdresser can achieve on your hair.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hairloom, or the minimum age in your country if it is higher. If you are under 18, use Hairloom with a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Your photos

• Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has clearly agreed. Do not upload photos of children, or photos you do not have the right to use.
• Do not upload unlawful, sexual, hateful or harmful content, and do not use Hairloom to impersonate or mislead others.
• You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to process them, including by sending them to the AI service providers described in our Privacy Policy, only to create the previews you request.
• We may refuse or stop a request that breaks these rules.

4. Free preview, limits and watermark

Every install gets one free preview. It shows a Hairloom watermark in the app and cannot be saved or shared. Hairloom Pro lets you create up to 40 previews in any rolling 24 hours, saves and shares previews without the watermark, and unlocks all styles. We may change limits to protect the service. Failed previews do not count against your limit.

5. Subscriptions and auto-renewal

• Hairloom Pro is offered as a yearly plan at $39.99 per year with a 3-day free trial, and a weekly plan at $7.99 per week. Prices may vary by region and can change; the price shown in the App Store at purchase applies.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. If it conflicts with these terms, the EULA prevails for the matters it covers.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, reverse engineer, resell or interfere with the app or its servers, to try to get around usage limits, or to use Hairloom for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

Hairloom, its name, design, software and style library belong to Cretova LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's usage rules. Subject to your compliance with these terms, you may use the previews created from your own photos for personal purposes.

8. Availability and AI limits

Previews are generated by third-party AI services. They may be inaccurate, may change details other than hair, or may fail. We do not guarantee that Hairloom will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Disclaimers

Hairloom is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Cretova LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of Hairloom. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Hairloom in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Courts in Wyoming have jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Hairloom after a change means you accept it.
